Group chat concierge

Add pally to the group chat: it tracks the plan, answers when tagged, and posts the Friday roundup.

Add pally's number to an iMessage group and it becomes the one member with its act together: it keeps track of the plan, answers when anyone tags it, and can post a scheduled roundup so the plan never dies in the scroll.

The routine

How it works

Add pally's number to the iMessage group, then confirm the join from your own conversation with pally. Once it is in, tell it what the group is trying to organize. A trip, dinner, or recurring plan gives it a clear thread to follow without taking over the room.

As messages pile up, pally keeps the current plan together: dates that have settled, reservations already handled, and decisions that still need an owner. Anyone in the chat can tag pally with a question, and replies to one of its older threads can continue that topic without confusing it with new chatter.

Scheduled roundups stop the plan from disappearing into the scroll. Ask for a Friday where-we-stand post, choose another cadence, or request a one-off summary. The post can state what is confirmed and what remains open, giving the group a shared version to correct.

The group controls the routine as the plan changes. Members can ask pally to pause or stop a scheduled post, while personal information stays in the owner's private approval flow when needed. If you ask from your own chat to post into a group and the destination is unclear, pally checks which chat you mean before speaking there.

Common questions

How do I add pally to an iMessage group?
Add pally's number as a member, then complete the confirmation it sends in your private chat. Its group introduction explains that people can tag it or reply in its threads when they want an answer.

Does pally answer every message in the group?
No. It speaks when someone tags it, replies within its threads, or when a scheduled group post is due. Ordinary group chatter can continue without pally inserting itself into every exchange.

Can anyone change the scheduled roundup?
People in the group can ask pally to pause or stop a group automation. When a request would use something personal, pally handles the relevant approval privately before anything leaves your world.
