How it works

Begin with the promise you want Pally to keep: never let a birthday arrive unnoticed. It can work from dates already present in Calendar or your CRM, and you can add people in iMessage whenever a birthday comes up in conversation. A name and date are enough to start.

For each person, Pally keeps the date alongside the useful context you have shared, such as how you know them or what they are into. That turns the reminder into more than a date alert. When there is enough lead time, it can bring back the details that help you choose a thoughtful next step.

The first nudge can arrive early enough to plan a gift or make arrangements, followed by a reminder on the day. You can ask for ideas based on what Pally remembers, request help shaping a message, or simply confirm that you already handled it.

As relationships and plans change, reply with the update. Tell Pally that someone moved, picked up a new interest, prefers a quiet birthday, or should be remembered sooner next year. The routine stays useful because the dates and the surrounding context can grow through ordinary conversation.

Where do the birthday dates come from?
Pally can use the dates available in the Calendar and CRM you connect, and you can tell it new ones directly in iMessage. It can also ask for clarification when two people share a name or a date is incomplete.

How early will Pally remind me?
You choose the timing. Ask for enough notice to plan something, a same-day reminder, or both, then change that lead time in the conversation whenever a different rhythm would work better.

Can it help beyond remembering the date?
Yes. Pally can use the interests and relationship context you have shared to suggest a useful direction for a gift or help draft a birthday message. You remain the one who chooses what feels right and approves anything sent.
